Howdy DXers,

I know this has been sent before but I felt like I should resend the invite the SFDXA members!

This terrific event is the annual "Pete Rimmel Memorial Picnic." Since Pete was such a great contributor to both clubs, and longtime President to SFDXA, I will definitely be there, and I invite as many SFDXA members that can make it do so as well.

I will operate some in the Florida QSO Party, while attending, but I encourage members without tons on contest experience to do so as well. The Florida QSO Party is sponsored by the Florida Contest Group and, from my understanding, it is only second to the California QSO Party in participation of state QSO Parties. It is a lot of fun, since we are in Florida and we are the DX, so to speak, and everyone will be calling us. If I remember correctly, Pete N8PR, won the QRP division, the first year it was resurrected and FCG took it over. It is tons of fun and it doesn't require the contesting skills of a DX contest.

The "Free Flea" will also be held during the picnic. Bring your excess goodies to the "Free Flea!"

Our cousin club, DCARC, is having their annual Pete Rimmel Memorial Picnic on April 28.

And our Mini-Flea:I 'm trying to generate interest bringing equipment to sell, there are several of us doing so. Send me your equipment list and I will get it on DCARC web site.
