With a population of just 55 people, Fair Isle is Britain’s most remote inhabited island. Marooned halfway between the Shetland and Orkney archipelagos, this tiny dot of an island is often not shown on maps.

Weather, seas and flights permitting, look for Col MM0NDX and Jonathan MM0OKG to be active from Fair Isle, EU-012 as MS0INT/P during August 25-28, 2023. Due to flight baggage restrictions this will be a lightweight expedition with 100w radios, vertical antennas and a small 6m beam.

The last activity from here was in 2015. Back then electricity was not available from 2300z to 0700z but now things have changed so expect some activity during these hours too.
