4W     - Ben DL6FBL, Braco E77DX and Robert SP5XVY will be active from Timor
         Leste  (callsign and QSL information TBA)  between  9 and 22 April.
         They  will operate CW, SSB and RTTY on 40-10 metres. This will be a
         "scouting trip  for a larger activity by  Lagunaria DX Group in No-
         vember". More information will be released in due course.
4X     - Celebrating the 75th anniversary since the foundation of the Israel
         Amateur Radio Club (IARC)  and  the  establishment of  the State of
         Israel,  local amateurs  may use  special prefixes 4X75 and 4Z75 on
         14-30 April (e.g. 4Z4DX may use 4Z75DX, 4X1RE may use 4X75RE, etc.)
         Contacts with  4X75 and 4Z75 stations will attract 3 points  during
         the NEW Holyland Contest (see Good to Know below). [TNX 4Z4DX]
7X     - 7T60ARA is the special callsign celebrating the 60th anniversary of
         Algeria's IARU member society, Amateurs Radio Algeriens (ARA). Look
         for activity between 23 March and 23 April. More information can be

DL     - Special callsign DR0LIMES  will be active between  1 April  and  30
         June  for  this  year's  German World Heritage Day  (4  June).  The
         "limes"  was the border line  of the  Roman Empire  at its greatest
         extent.  In 2005,  the remnants  of the  Upper German-Raetian Limes
         were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage  list as  "Frontiers of
         the Roman Empire".
F      - Jean, F8CHM will be active as TM1AI from Aix Island (EU-032)  on 7-
         10 April. He will operate CW and SSB on 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10m. QSL

GM     - A team of six (namely 2E0NSQ, G0AZE, G0VQO, M0EBJ, M0GLV and M0KVK)
         will be active as GB0SIM  from the  Isle of Muck (EU-008)  on 16-20
         April.  They plan  to operate  CW, SSB  and  possibly FT8 on 160-10
         metres  with two stations.  QSL direct to G0AZE;  the log  will  be
         uploaded to Club Log, LoTW and eQSL.
H44    - Michael, DL2GMI expects to be active again as H44MI (callsign to be
         confirmed) from  Malaita Island (OC-047), Solomon Islands  starting
         on 2 April for 7-10 days. He will operate SSB, RTTY and some CW  on
         80, 40, 20, 17, 15, 12 and 10m. He may also be QRV on 5 metres EME.

HP     - Nuria, EA3WL and Josep, EA3BT  will be active holiday style as H31W
         and H31B,  respectively,  from  Contadora Island  (NA-072)  on  3-8
         April. They will operate SSB, CW and FT8 (F/H) on 40-6 metres.  QSL
         via Club Log's OQRS.
HV     - Look for HV0A to be active on  CW only  from the Vatican City  on 2
         April starting around 7 UTC. QSL via LoTW, or direct to IK0FVC.
ON     - OT2023EPIC  is  the special callsign  for the  Pajottenlandse Radio
         Amateur Club (ON4PRA) to promote  the sixth edition of the  Antwerp
         Port Epic cycling race.  Look for activity between 22 April and  21
         May (the actual day the race will be held on)
OZ     - A team  of seven  Belgian  operators  (ON1BN, ON4AWT, ON6EF, ON6VJ,
         ON7TA, ON7VM and ON9DJ) will be  active as  5P5FI from  Fano Island
         (EU-125) on 22-29 April. They will operate SSB, CW and FT8 on 160-6
         metres with three stations. QSL via ON6EF, direct or bureau.
SV     - SX50AHH is a  special callsign for  Polydoros, SV1AHH  to celebrate
         his  golden  jubilee  in amateur radio.  Operated  from  Greece  by
         SV1JFL,  SV1QVA, SV1GGF  and SV1AHH himself,  the callsign  will be
         used on  10-28 April  on 160-10 metres  CW, SSB, FT8, FT4 and RTTY.
         The logs will be uploaded to eQSL, LoTW, Club Log; paper cards will
         not be available.
T31    - After their T30UN operation from  West Kiribati [425DXN 1664],  the
         Rebel DX Group will be active as T31TT  from Kanton Island, Central
         Kiribati (OC-043)  starting during the first week of June  for 9-10
         days.  In 2016 the Rebels operated  from Kanton  as T31T.  Bookmark

UA0    - Team RI0Z  (namely R7AA, RM0F, UA6EX and UA7A)  will be active from
         Bering Island,  one of the Komandorskiye Islands (AS-039),  from 18
         August to 1 September. QSL via Club Log's OQRS (direct and bureau),
         or  via  R7AA.  Bookmark  https://dxpedition.wixsite.com/ri0z/  for
         updates.
V3     - Art, NN7A will be active as V31JZ/p from South Water Caye (NA-180),
         Belize on 17-23 April.  He will operate CW and possibly some SSB on
         80-10 metres. QSL via Club Log, LoTW,  or via home call (direct and
         bureau).
VP5    - John, W0UV will be active as as VP5/W0UV from  Providenciales  (NA-
         002), Turks and Caicos Islands on  4-11 April.  He will operate FT8
         on 40-10 metres. QSL via LoTW; paper cards will not be available.
W      - Look for W5S  to be active from  Ship Island  (NA-082)  on 8 April,
         from approximately 15.30 UTC until 19 UTC.  Activity will be QRP on
         20, 15, 12 and 10 metres  CW, SSB and digital modes.  QSL direct to
         PO Box 179, Theodore AL 36582, USA.

CASS AWARDS ---> The Cass Awards honour the wisdom and spirit of Cass WA6AUD
(SK), and encourage DXpeditions to maximize the number of  DXers worked with
a Plaque for the single-operator DXpedition that works the most unique call-
signs within 2 weeks or less, and a Plaque  for  the "unlimited"  DXpedition
that works the most unique callsigns.
Janusz Wegrzyn, SP9FIH  has won  (for  the sixth  year in a row!)  the  2022
Single-Operator Cass Award by working 10,771 unique stations during his one-
man operation as FJ/SP9FIH from Saint Barthelemy Island.
The TY0RU team  (Vasily Sukhanov RA1ZZ,  Vasily Pinchuk R7AL,  Vlad Vasiljev
R9LR, Ilya Kainov R5AF, Leo Berezhnoy RW9JZ,  Slav Rodin RW8A, Nick Tolkunov
R5EC,  and Alex Bezmenov R9LM)  worked 33,553  unique stations  from  Benin,
setting a new record to win the 2022 Unlimited Cass Award.
Presented annually,  the Cass Awards are issued  in  March  for  DXpeditions
during  the  preceding  year.  See  http://www.cassaward.com/  for  complete

FO/AA7JV ---> It  has been active  from  Tikehau Atoll,  Tuamotu Archipelago
(OC-066), French Polynesia since 29 March.  Mike, KN4EEI  and  George, AA7JV
have  "three stations  in two  RIBs  on  a nearby motu  (small island).  Two
stations are running remotely operated FT8,  and one is a full power  160-10
CW/SSB station  that we work locally from the boat  via the 900 MHz bridge".
They expect to be QRV until 5 April. QSL via HA7RY and LoTW.

POLAR TRIP ---> Thomas, DC8TM and  Martina, DF3TS plan to be QRV as JW/DC8TM
and JW/DF3TS from Longyearbyen (EU-026), Svalbard on  8-11 April.  They will
then move to a Russian temporary base on a drifting ice floe,  and be active
as DP0LE,  RA/DC8TM/p,  RA/DF3TS/p on  14-17 April.  During that time frame,
they will also go on a day trip to the geographic North Pole,  and be QRV as
DP0LE, DC8TM/p and DF3TS/p for just about 30 minutes on or around 14244 kHz.

YOTA CONTEST 2023 ---> Organized by the IARU R1 Youth Working Group  in  co-
operation with the  Hungarian Amateur Radio Society (MRASZ),  the aim of the
YOTA Contest is  to increase youngsters activity on the air,  strengthen the
reputation of the  YOTA programme, and  demonstrate  support  for youngsters
across the world.  The three sessions  of this year's  YOTA Contest  will be
held on  22 April (0800-1959 UTC),  22 July (1000-2159 UTC), and 30 December
(1200-2359 UTC),  on the five classic bands  CW and SSB.  Everyone  can work

WORLDWIDE HOLYLAND DX CONTEST (WWHC) ---> Effective with  the  2023 edition,
the traditional Holyland Contest becomes the  Worldwide Holyland DX Contest:
any station anywhere can work any other station for points;  QSOs with 4X/4Z
stations will attract  more points.  The contest  will take place  on  14-15
April, from 21.00 UTC on Friday until 20.59 UTC on Saturday (24 hours).  The
