Like mint condition with two Peter Dahl transformers and higher-capacity, higher-voltage filter capacitor.  Original Operating and Technical Manual.  New tubes.  Checked out in November 2010 by N4UQ the “Alpha Doctor” with his seal of approval on the back.  Dummy load test data sheet by N4UQ on 11/23/10. 

Has the following upgrades:

1)    C39 (25uf/4KV) replaced with higher-capacity, higher-voltage 35uf/5KV from Condenser Products.  Direct physical replacement for original Alpha C39 which dramatically improves voltage regulation. 

2)    Comes with two Peter Dahl Alpha transformers.  I replaced the original Power Transformer with a Peter Dahl Alpha 77S-4 (2400-3400 VAC secondary Hipersil C-core @ 0.9A CCS).  Also comes with Peter Dahl Alpha 77S-1 (1800-3200 VAC secondary Hipersil C-core @ 1.05A CCS). 

3)    Includes a brand-new, factory-assembled, but not installed, replacement high voltage board by Island Amplifier.  This high voltage board is specifically designed to be used with the 77Sx with higher plate voltage and larger DC filter capacitor possessing higher capacitance. 

4)    Custom dust cover. 

Have had two nibbles but both require shipping, so I am reducing the price to avoid having to ship this beauty. Would love to see it go to a Florida contest station.
