I'm sad to write this but, as you may have heard from others, Pete WS4G, passed away two days ago on Monday, from cancer. He was surrounded by his family. He had two sons -- the older of which was a close high school friend of mine.

I saw WS4G in 2011 when I attended his older son's wedding in Texas. I saw WS4G again in 2015 or so here in San Jose -- by that year he had retired but was working as a contractor for some company and had a business trip in my area and we met up for dinner.

I admired WS4G very much.
