"I seem to have a problem with the 20/17m trap in my Cushcraft R9 vertical (in Florida).   SWR on 17m is infinite (but okay on all other bands).  I can live with it until it comes down next month and I can take a look.  But I called Cushcraft to see if I can get a replacement trap anyway.  They have NO aluminum.  No traps can be made and they cannot even make new antennas!  Shortage of aluminum tubing, Tom told me.  It’s been 3months and he sees no change for six months."
