Hi guys,

I received this email from Boda DF8DX who is looking for a station to operate in the ARRL CW contest, while he is in Florida.

I'm sure someone here in Florida can accommodate him.

Thanks guys and very 73,

Hi Boda,

Welcome to Florida. I would be very happy to accommodate you to enjoy ARRL CW if I had a current station.  I'm in a restricted apartment with no antennas at this time. The South Florida DX Association club station in is a state of disarray.  We need to do a lot of maintenance at the station to get it back in order.

I would enjoy an eyeball QSO if you are in the Fort Lauderdale area, and I can invite a group of DXers to join us.

I also will forward your email to members of our club as well as the Florida Contest Group.  Between the 2 groups, I'm sure we can find a suitable station for you to work the contest from.

Thanks for the many contacts we've had in the past and I look forward to many more as soon as I can get out of this apartment and put up some antennas!

Dear William,

I am Bodo, DF8DX. In February/March I will be travelling thru Florida again. On Feb 19./20. there is ARRL DX CW Contest and I would really like to participate. I am bringing only minimum setup (IC706 and a fishing rod as vertical) so I am looking for a decent station that I may use for some hours during the contest. Can you recommend anyone that could help me out? I would really appreciate that.

Btw, you had QSOs with me: VP9/DL3OCH, TK/DL3OCH, OC1I and 5N7Q J
