As I had done at WRTCs in Boston, Germany and Italy, I have arranged 
with the WRTC 2026 Committee to have six remote operating positions at 
the WRTC 2026 Headquarters facility in Wyboston, UK. A dedicated room 
will be located next to the local HQ station, and we are ready to put 
some serious RF on the air during the IARU contest weekend.

The operating positions will either have physical remote hardware (such 
as the K4/0), or a remote desktop connection to the station with full 
access to the radio, logger, and associated controls. Headsets will be 
provided for all operators.

I'm thrilled to share the station lineup we have assembled. These are 
well-known, world-class contest stations with significant capabilities:

   ZW5B - Brazil (South America)
   7Q6M - Malawi (Africa)
   VK6SJ - Australia (Oceania)
   K6RO - Maine, United States (North America)
   KH7M - Big Island, Hawaii (Oceania/Pacific)
   ZF5T - Cayman Islands (North America/Caribbean)

We are currently in discussions with station owners in Asia and Europe, 
and hope to add those to the mix as well. The goal is to work all the 
WRTC teams from six continents!

We will work with each station owner to either schedule fully remote 
operation from WRTC, or to operate as a hybrid remote team, with the 
operators at WRTC being part of the station's overall operating team for 
the contest. Either way, this is a unique opportunity to put some big 
signals on the air from some incredible locations.

I want to sincerely thank the station owners who have agreed to be part 
of this exciting operating event. Their generosity and enthusiasm for 
WRTC and the contesting community is what makes something like this 
possible.

The form collects your callsign, licensing information, operating 
preferences, and station preferences so we can put together the 
schedule. I will follow up with everyone via email with specific details 
as we get closer to the event.

On-site visitors at WRTC HQ will also be welcome to operate after 
providing the same information the signup form asks for, but please be 
aware that an operating slot may not be available if you have not signed 
up in advance. If you know you want to participate, sign up now to

The remote operations will be supervised by Ed Parish, K1EP, who holds 
US Extra and Canadian Advanced Amateur licenses.  (I'll be bust as a 
referee.)

I want to give special thanks to Mark Haynes, M0DXR and Lee Volante, 
G0MTN for their tremendous help in making all of this happen. Their 
support behind the scenes has been invaluable in bringing this together.

This is going to be an unforgettable experience. Let's light up the 
bands from six continents and work all 50 WRTC teams!
