[SFDXA] Hamclock alternative...

Hello y’all,

I’m sure some of you know, or may have used, *HamClock* (a nice
open-source alternative to Geochron). Unfortunately, *WB0OEW*, who
created it, has become *SK*, and HamClock will stop running after *June
2026*.

Well, as hams do, a new alternative is already here. *OpenHamClock* is
now available on GitHub. I just downloaded it and installed it on the
same Raspberry Pi I’ve been using for HamClock, and all I can say is
/wow!/ A heck of a great turnaround by a few hams, for sure.

Here’s a good video about it:

And here are the installation steps from GitHub:

I’ll also say this — it looks fantastic on my dedicated 42-inch flat
screen that I’ve been using for HamClock.

73,
Steve
