🌍 *3X3A: Beyond the Silence of Propagation*
In Guinea, when the noise rises and propagation seems to betray us, the
voice goes silent... but my radio doesn't.

➡️ I use FT8 to "break through" the silence and ensure the 3X3A signal
reaches your stations, even when it seems impossible.

It's not just digital: it's the challenge of always being there, for
each of you, beyond any physical limit. See you on thewaterfall!

🎧 Thank you all and keep an eye on RealTime, 73 de 3X3A

Team Leader Jeff, K5WE, had an allergic reaction to something last nite
- his tongue swelled up and he was starting to have trouble breathing.
So the rest of the team went to the airport and he went to the hospital.
Hopefully he will join us on Monday.  4 team members are currently
sitting on the tarmac in San Fran waiting to takeofffor Tahiti !  Dave,
WD5COV, is bringing his famous TopBand Express for 160 and 80m, the low
band antenna used by the Clipperton team, TX5S.  This is gonna be
interesting!

*Message 5: Z66SP -- Republic of Kosovo (Update April 18th)*

From Z66SP Web page (edited by OPDX):

*Antennas - Installation, Testing, and Measurement*
*Published: 17 April 2026*

Since early April, intensive preparations have been underway for our
trip to Kosovo. One of the steps was setting up three antennas that we
planned as the main ones. The antennas have been assembled, adjusted and
tested. There is also a dish for QO-100.  The antennas are ready to go.

We set up each antenna for testing. We reviewed the assembly
instructions, verified that all components were present, and most
importantly, connect the antennas to the radio to check for proper
operation. The SWRmeasurement results are positive, and the resonances
are on the band, so we believethis part of the equipment is ready and is
currently in storage awaiting packing.

Planned TX-RX antennas:

1. Spiderbeam 20-17-15-12-10m

2. Hexbeam (https://sp6cyn-hexbeameu/hex-beam/
<https://sp6cyn-hexbeam.eu/hex-beam/>)
3. Vertical GP-5SP low bands (https://sp7gxp.pl/vertical-gp-5-sp/)

The antennas listed above will serve as our primary antennas. We plan to
bring the following additional items (space permitting):

1. Simple GP 160m/80m – Spiderbeam fiberglass 18m
2. Simple GP 40m – homemade

As receiving antennas, we plan to bring the BOG and 4SQ HiZ antennas system.

We have also antenna for a radio operation using the QO-100
geostationary satellite. It is an offset with a helical active element
at 2.4 GHz and a satellite converter from DXPatrol.

This upcoming weekend, we plan to pack up so we’ll be ready to leave on
Monday, April 20th.
Vy 73 from the team.
