[SFDXA] SFDXA November meeting

Howdy DXers,

I had planned on having a Board of Directors meeting, but I just 
couldn't get it together.  We can cover the ideas that we were going to 
work on, at the regular members meeting.

Things are tough for me right now!  I feel that the membership needs to 
be aware that I am having some difficult health issues at this time.  As 
I mentioned before, I have been diagnosed with Venous Insufficiency 
Syndrome and it is getting worse.  I met with 2 doctors last week and I 
have another this week.  We will be scheduling surgery with the Vascular 
Surgeon soon.  I have 2 weeping ulcers on my right leg, that are getting 
worse.  This is the leg that I had broken into 40 little pieces in a 
motorcycle accident in 1980.  It has worked wonderfully for 45 years, 
but it's giving me problems now.  If the pain doesn't get better 
tomorrow, I will probably go to the emergency room, and could quite 
possibly be admitted.

Tomorrow, if the pain subsides a bit, I will get together with Doreen at 
the Florida Medical Center.  The new owners have changed security and 
has made it more difficult for us to get to the radio room.  None of the 
new security folks know who we are. This could make it more difficult, 
or impossible, for us to have our meetings there.

With that in mind, we could possibly limited to a "Zoom only" meeting, 
this November. I will have an update after I speak with Doreen.

I will have more info about the meeting tomorrow.

We are still planning on having our Holiday Party at the OutBack 
Steakhouse.  With K2AU Mark being incommunicado, I'll meet with OutBack 
this week if my health allows.

Below is the Zoom credentials for the meeting.  If all goes well with my 
visit to the Florida Medical Center, we will have an in-person meeting.

Date and Time:  November 5th, 2025  7:00 PM
The Networking session starts at 7:00 PM (or whenever you get here)
The "Official" meeting starts at 7:33 PM as usual.

When you arrive you will need to show photo ID at the front security 
desk.  Upon entering, proceed to the main hall and turn right.  After 
turning right, the Auditorium is at the end of the hall on the right.

If you can't make it in-person, the Zoom credentials are below!

I look forward to seeing as many as possible either in-person or on Zoom!
*(I still encourage everyone to meet IN-PERSON if possible. since our 
members enjoy the face to face "eyeball" QSOs!!)* 😉
