[SFDXA] SFDXA Meeting March 5th

Hi DXers!

I look forward to seeing as many members as possible at the Florida 
Medical Center this coming Wednesday.

Much discussion in prior meetings was centered around members attending 
the meetings IN PERSON.  One of the drivers was to have an interesting 
presentation at every meeting.  I have been diligently working on making 
this happen.

We are planning on having interesting presentations at every meeting 
this year! Our presentation for this coming meeting is by SFDXA member 
and head of the CW DX Marathon program, Mark Wohlschlegel WC3W, 
presenting the 2024 results.  This program has been growing dramatically 
since inception, and I plan on entering every year, once I'm in a ham 
friendly QTH!  Our club, SFDXA has been sponsoring a plaque for the last 
two years and we intend to continue to do so.  Mark will be on Zoom 
since he moved recently to a new QTH in Port Saint Lucie.

We also have an exciting presentation scheduled for the May meeting that 
will be done IN PERSON.  Details to follow soon!

*I continue to encourage as many as possible to make the meeting 
IN-PERSON if possible.  Much discussion has been about how to deal with 
the "Zoom Effect."

* All are WELCOME!

We will continue the meetings on Zoom as well, since more members are 
moving out of the area and/or having health issues with driving at night.

Date and Time:  March 5th, 2025  7:00 PM
The Networking session starts at 7:00 PM (or whenever you get here)
The "Official" meeting starts at 7:33 PM as usual.

When you arrive you will need to show photo ID at the front security 
desk.  Upon entering, proceed to the main hall and turn right.  After 
turning right, the Auditorium is at the end of the hall on the right.

If you can't make it in-person, the Zoom credentials are below!
