[SFDXA] SFDXA November 2024 Meeting

Howdy DXers,

We had a terrific first annual "SFDXA Fall Picnic" with around 30 well 
fed folks that showed up.  I will be releasing a summary report of the 
picnic with photos shortly.

I meant to get the November meeting invite out sooner but life keeps 
getting in the way! I reminded everyone at the picnic, so hopefully we 
can have a bit better attendance.

I am putting together a survey that was mentioned in our last meeting, 
regarding ways to increase meeting attendance.  It will be sent out soon 
via email.

We are meeting again at the Florida Medical Center Auditorium.  This 
location has been our official meeting location for many years and it is 
the location of our club station.  With poor attendance, I'm wondering 
if the hospital is the best place to meet.  We no longer have the 
cafeteria available which was a terrific draw in the past.  We will 
discuss ideas at the meeting.

When you arrive you will need to show photo ID at the front security 
desk.  Upon entering, proceed to the main hall and turn right.  After 
turning right, the Auditorium is at the end of the hall on the right.

*I would like to encourage as many as possible to make the meeting 
IN-PERSON if possible.  Much discussion has been about how to deal with 
the "Zoom Effect." We will be discussing this at the meeting. Please attend.

We will continue the meetings on Zoom as well for now, but discussion 
has been made to drop Zoom in favor of only IN-PERSON meetings, with 
Zoom only being used to bring in out of town speakers.
