[SFDXA] SFDXA November 2023 Meeting

Howdy DXers,

Sorry about the late notice.

Our November Meeting is going to be at the DCARC club station location 
again. I haven't been very active on the Broward College meeting room 
request since the lead time is over 2 weeks and there was just not 
enough time to get things arranged for the November meeting. Hopefully 
we can get everything arranged for our January meeting.

After speaking with many members and the current officers, it seems that 
restaurants might not be the best venue for our meetings, which forces 
us to by food.  I have it down on the agenda for this meeting to discuss 
our meeting location and everyone's input is appreciated.

The location is at the QTH of member Fred WB4BAG in Davie.  Directions

BS/networking session starts at 7:00 on Zoom and locally  The official 
meeting starts at 7:33 as always.

Hopefully we can have more folks coming to the meeting in-person!  I 
would like to encourage our members to make the meeting in person if 
possible.  The eyeball QSOs are more fun!  If you can't make it 
in-person, the Zoom credentials are below!

At the BoD meeting, the recommendation was made to drop Zoom in the 
future for members, after a regular, permanent, centrally located, 
meeting location is arranged.  Hopefully the Broward College location 
will come to fruition.  Zoom was great during Covid-19, but it seems 
that folks are getting a bit too lazy to make the meetings in person. We 
have always had good participation at the in-person meetings in the past 
and the board would like to see this continue. There will be some new 
announcements of great interest that will be announced a the meeting.
