On Thursday April 20, the amateur radio group made up of Paty XE1YL, 
Ismael XE1AY, Jorge XE2JT and Ricardo XE1SY,
We will be arriving at Isla Maria Madre, in Puerto Balleto, to activate 
the IOTA Islas Marias NA-244 for several days.
We hope to be on the air as soon as we manage to install the antenna 
group, which will consist of 2 Hexbeam antennas, 3 dipoles for the 30m, 
40m and 80m bands,
This will allow us to operate from 80m to 6m, as the propagation allows.
Ismael, as always, will be the telegraph operator, the rest of us will 
alternate between phone and FT-8.

As you know, the NA-244 group of islands has not been previously 
activated, since the island housed a federal prison that worked from 
1905 to 2019.
when a decree turned it into a National Park and Biosphere Reserve, the 
COVID-19 pandemic delayed our project until today,
when we managed to obtain the permits and have access from the 
authorities of the Island's Government, CONANP, and SEMAR.

The most updated information of this operation will be placed on qrz.com 
<http://qrz.com> in the callsign of the event that will be XF1I.
The works in telephone and telegraphy will be in SPLIT mode, in FT-8 we 
will be operating in FOX mode.
