Very interesting program for Mobile Contesting - Bill W2CQ
From CWops list:
Back when I was doing a lot of mobile operation in state QSO parties I developed an application called CQ/X for use during the planning of a trip and during the actual operation. You can find detailed info about CQ/X and a download link on my website
Briefly, to use the application you draw your route on a Google map and then download a kml file to import into CQ/X which calculates the county line crossings. You can also include waypoints. Once those are defined and you are underway the application uses GPS data (you will need a simple GPS receiver that supports serial output) to calculate the distances to each crossing and waypoint and detects the county you are in. You can use the application as a navigation aid or also as your logging application. If interested take a look at the website.
