Steve,
Your chart looks more like the decline of cycle 24 and as propagation got tougher the weak signal mode (FT8) filled in the decline a bit.
Did FT8 kill the other modes? I don’t think so, but it did help to pick up the DX in the lull. The decline of CW being much less prominent than SSB.
Maybe we should wait till 25 picks up before we try to pass any such judgement?
Only my humble opinion.
