WILLIS ISLAND (VK9HR) & MELLISH REEF (VK9IR) DXPEDITION OCT 2021

The Hellenic Amateur Radio Association of Australia is planning a 
dxpedition to both Willis Island and Mellish Reef in October 2021.

Team will comprise of 7 operators from VK/ZL (due to international 
travel restrictions into VK) and permit application with Parks Australia 
(Australian Government department) is underway as a general use permit 
is required to "camp" at these Australian coral sea marine parks.

We are also working on obtaining a landing permit for a dxpedition to 
VK0M Macquarie Island but this one is much harder/if not impossible to 
get permission from Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service that manage 
Macquarie Island as a protected nature reserve.
