I just received  message back from Rachel.  It was a blood clot and it 
appears that he died suddenly.  She was trying to revive him with CPR 
but it was unfortunately unsuccessful.  She is devastated and trying her 
best to cope.

Arrangements will be announced.

I am saddened to hear of another great friend and fellow member/ex 
President of SFDXA passing.  I got the news a few hours ago from Gil 
W1RG that he had received a Facebook post saying such.

Memories of Don include many QSO's on 6 and 2 meters as he enjoyed his 
"rover" contacts during the VHF contests.  He really enjoyed driving 
around and handing out different grid squares to contestants while he 
enjoyed the South Florida scenery.  I even worked him from his small 
rover setup when he was in the keys handing out some rare EL94 QSO's.  
Of course we all enjoyed his positive contributions to the SFDXA 
meetings as a member, Technical Coordinator and later as President.

I will check with Rachel and pass along anything regarding memorial 
services to the club.

RIP Don.
