Blue Angels Flyover Tomorrow, May 8
To recognize and honor the exemplary work of healthcare professionals 
and first responders during the COVID-19 crisis, the U.S. Navy’s Blue 
Angels will make a special visit to South Florida on Friday, May 8. The 
aerobatic flight demonstration team is expected to enter airspace in 
Boca Raton at approximately 1:00 p.m. and make their way south over 
hospitals in Fort Lauderdale including Holy Cross Hospital, Broward 
Health Medical Center and Kindred Hospital, before heading west toward 
Memorial Hospital, south to Miami and Homestead, then back north toward 
West Palm Beach. The special visit is part of Operation “America 
Strong,” a nationwide effort to show support for those on the frontlines 
of the COVID-19 pandemic. Residents are encouraged to view the flyover 
from their homes while following proper CDC social distancing
