[SFDXA] July 1 Meeting

Howdy DXers,

Well.. I have been following all of the emails discussing our Covid-19 
situation and the best way to move forward with the July meeting.

The "official" vote is in favor of doing the meeting on Zoom, by 13 to 
6.  I think this makes a lot of sense, since we have many members that 
are outside of the repeater footprint that would like to join the 
meeting.  Yes we are a "Radio" club and I encourage use of the repeater 
on a regular basis.  We also want to be a club of "inclusion" as we are 
eager to grow our membership. One way to do that is try to include the 
out of area members.  I will additionally forward this Invitation to 
other clubs in the area to see if there is any interest in joining both 
the meeting and/or the club.

To include the repeater folks and since we are a "Radio" club, I will 
start the meeting a bit earlier and take check-ins on the repeater, a 
bit after 7:00 PM EDT or 2300z.  I will also attempt to keep an ear out 
on the repeater during the meeting and attempt to feed the repeater 
audio into the meeting by having the radio audio near my mic.  I don't 
think I should "broadcast" the meeting onto the repeater, so If you 
would like to hear what is going on, you can call in on any phone, using 
the info below, and listen to the meeting!  You can even "check-in" via 
the phone.

Mickey Baker, N4MB has graciously offered to host the meeting on his 
Zoom account and has provided the meeting invitation below.

Zoom can be used on a variety of platforms:

Windows PC, Mac, Android phone or tablet, IOS phone or tablet. Go to the 
Zoom website, Google Play, or the Apple Store, depending on your 
platform and download the free version and you should be ready to go.
