Bill,
Sorry about the name mix up it was me, Kai, who replied to you quoting Mickey's
offer, not Mickey.
We are not an auto club either but we drove to meetings at the hospital.
True, we are not an internet club, but we (that is Sebastian) maintain a class-A
web page! And many members use DX spots from the internet, and use internet
based LoTW, and on-line submission of DXCC logs, to say nothing about the WSJT-X
mode dependence on multiple internet technologies. I'll bet that most FD
participants will send in their FD reports by internet.
Why single out online meetings?
I have no suitable home station for an on-air meeting, so I guess I'm out of it
if you go on-air, until minutes get published (on the internet).
I'm not the only one without a suitable home station.
Very kindest regards,
Kai, KE4PT
