 Randy, et-al
The use of Zoom for club meetings works very well.  We are using here in Jupiter, and also a couple of other organizations. If there is a club member with a business or paid account that would be the preferred method as the 'free'[ version is limited in time (40 minutes) and I think 25 sign-ins.  However I do suggest that members do download the Free Zoom as that will allow members to get familiar with the procedure.
It may not be necessary for members to have Zoom on there PCs or Phones as meeting attendees can log into a site using the 'invitation URL' sent to each invitee by the coordinator.
Not all members have to have webcams, some can be audio only to participate, but  they will see video okay.  But have two-way video is worth investing in WebCam/Mic combo. Think about 'lighting', to improve your image.Oh remember to be dressed.
I would recommend doing some trial sessions with various members so that they can become somewhat familiar with the nuances of ZOOM, it is not all intuitive.  Plan on 10min or so of 'hook-up' time.  If you have presentation material that too needs some practice to have it run smoothly.
We all better get use to Virtual meetings, I think it will become more popular with  many organizations going forward.  I heard the Visalia DX Conference will be Virtual next year, that will save a lot of travel and expense.

 Hi Randy and members,

I hope we can open up the meeting to some of us out of the area,
repeater closes the window as you say,  I use Zoom, for all my other
online meetings and I have never had issues with it...easy to use and
easy click buttons and the host speaker can mute the entire group if
needed if background noise gets to high ( Low S/N ratios)....LOL

My vote is for Zoom,  easy download for users, and works nicely on
Tablets or PCs.
Miss seeing your faces,

Be Safe,
