pete, I have been in touch with multiple experts on this, including 2
in Newington, and they assure me we are ok.
We have to be careful that they could exempt ham radio use in emergencies only,
which would really be bad.

BOTH line out the part about mobile communications.
That means that Operating Ham Radio in a car while moving is the same as texting, and considered driving while distracted.
It is not trivial... They have lined out the text which provides the exception for ham radio, taxis and tow trucks, etc.
Please do NOT take this lightly.
