My dad, Tarver Shirley, has passed through the Pearly Gates to be with my mom. He passed away calmly Friday evening, November 29th around 7:30 PM while under hospice care. He was 93 and ready to go.  He even accused us of “keeping him alive” against his will.

Services are in Smyrna, GA this Saturday and he will be laid to rest in Sugar Valley, GA next to my mom later this Saturday.  You can see the obituary on my Facebook page.

As a result I will be in the Atlanta area a lot taking care of estate issues, since I am the personal representative on the estate.  I will be back and forth, however, since I have a very active life in South Florida.  I intend to be at all of the SFDXA meetings and I will remain in contact with the Board of Directors, both old and new, and the membership via email.
