Well, FT4 is in general use!  I downloaded it and tried it on the recommended 20 meter frequency, and bang, contacts are being made at the rate of one a minute or better.  Incredible.  It takes 100 hz bandwidth rather than 50, and despite Joe’s writeup that claimed SNRs would be less, I am seeing higher reports sent.  The whole world already has the software.  Heard YB, XE, DL SP, CX, LU, G, F, YS, and worked all of it except the YB.  Switched to 40 and it’s the same there.
