Less than two months to go before the 2018 Winterfest Boat Parade
Please sign now so I know that every assignment is covered.

For those that worked the parade last year will get the same assignments if
they contact me immediately before I give your location away. 

 

This event is shown in many different Countries with over 1 MILLION VIEWERS
You will have a front row seat to the parade since all the parade boats
(100 of them) will pass right in front of you.  This is the best seat in the
house!

If you already signed up for a position in the Parade, please disregard.

It's that time of year again!  The Winterfest Boat Parade will take place on
Saturday, December 15, 2018. If you have worked the parade in the past, we
are asking if you would like to work your same position again before we send
out a general request to the ham community, please email please email Robin
Terrill, n4hhp at comcast.net <mailto:n4hhp at comcast.net>  with your name, call
sign, email address, snail mail address (for our great volunteer party
invitation) and cell phone number, and the position you would like to work.
We will do our best to accommodate all your requests. If you have not worked
this Parade before and would like to work it, I will pair you up with an
experienced ham.  Please send me your name, call sign, email address, snail
mail address (for our great volunteer party invitation) and cell phone
number and I will contact you ASAP.

 

We also have an antenna party scheduled from 9:00 am to 12 noon on Tuesday,
December 11, 2018.  If you can help, let me know.

 

The ham operator and control boat operator training (and dinner) will be
held on Wednesday, December 12,  2018 in the afternoon at the Chamber
office.  Please make every effort to make this meeting as credentials will
be handed out at that time.  More details to follow for those who will be
volunteering.

 

We are looking forward to another great event with the best ham operators

you.
