[SFDXA] ANTENNA PARTY SUNDAY

Sunday, May 6th  (this coming Sunday) there will be an antenna party at the SFDXA station.  

That is located at Florida Medical Center at 5000 W. Oakland Park Blvd.  Next to the Fla Turnpike

We will start at 10:00 AM, Though some will be there earlier.  

The Ham Shack is in the Eastern wing of the main building.  Come in and check in with the front desk

Tell them you are going to the “Radio Room”

At the first cross aisle, go left to the end and then right to the elevators.  If you cannot get one of the left two elevators to arrive, go around the back  of the elevators and try there.  Only the left two elevators go up to the “PH” floor where our shack is located. 

If you get lost, ask someone how to get to the PHarmacy. 

Talk in on 147.33/93 before we get up onto the roof.  

Please bring water and a hat.  We may be up on the roof for a few hours to get everything accomplished. 

We are doing final assembly of the Hy-Gain TH-11 5 band yagi and putting up a 6 meter yagi/Waller Flagon the tower. 

We have to take down the Butternut vertical and TA-33 tribander.  Then put up the top antennas, raise the mast, install the rotator and then the TH-11. 

Many hands make light work of this.  Come and watch and learn how to push on a rope.  (and how to put up antennas)
