That’s right at the ETOPS limit for a G650, unless you have the G650ER. Is there a reason not to stop at Nadi (3D2) instead? Just curious . . .

You guys are both wrong. Travel to MIA, embark at the private terminal, TSA clearance is easy there. Take my G6 from MIA to NZAA for fuel, then from NZAA short hop over to YMEL. This puts us within a 30 minute car ride to the hamfest.
Total travel time 15 hours in air. Another hour for re-fuelling. No layover. Bring your own snacks... I'm too cheap to have a flight attendant. :)

Don't forget the travel time to/from the airports, and the two+ hours allocated for TSA. Okay, that brings it to only 28-29 or so hours. My error!

Nonsense! AA275 MIA to LAX and QF94 LAX to MEL will have you there in exactly 24 hours -- including a 2-hour layover in LAX.
Not that I've ever done that, of course . . .

Hi Bill,
Might be a long shot for distribution but this is our clubs event to be held Sunday in suburban Melbourne.
Everyone welcome.
