[SFDXA] [FCG] Florida DX Club - Florida Skip

Florida Skip magazine was a monthly publication focused exclusively on Florida Ham Radio activities. Traffic nets, radio clubs and ARRL officials reported their activities in the smallish but very useful monthly.




Florida Skip was published by Andy Clark W4IYT (SK) and his XYL Betty (whose call i don't remember.) Arguably Betty did most of the work but Andy was the smiling face of the pub. Andy & Betty were energetic, enthusiastic and solid supporters of everything ham radio.




When I moved to Miami Beach, Florida at the tender age of 17 in 1967, Andy & Betty were among the first hams I met. I was active in NTS and they were so helpful to me. All thru my college years in Miami I worked closely with the Clarks promoting ham radio to city and county officials.




The Clark's kept Florida Skip going as long as they could. Costs, retirement and the steady march of technology forced Florida Skip to fade into the history of Florida ham radio.




I've moved several times since those blissful days of my youth. My Florida  Skip collection ultimately found its way to the recycling bin. I miss the Clarks and their venerable publication. Unfortunately I don't have any copies in my archives.

I am looking for a copy of the "Florida Skip" one of the popular local publications of the 60's, 70's and 80's. Not necessarilly the real thing, but a good image,or PDF file would be fine.  Front page for sure, but also copies of the remaining pages would be even better.  I have forgotten the Name and Call of the publisher, getting old I guess - does anyone remember? 
If you have a copy, or can make copies I would appreciate sending them to me.  My call @ bellsouth.net
