Few weeks ago my ICOM radios just stopped connecting with my PC, N1MM, Logger32 you name it. The IC7851 and the IC9100 were not recognized anymore by the USB interface.



After few days I found the problem, the new Windows10 update is reducing the USB power below a safe level.  I changed all possible power configuration with no results.



The solution  I found searching for problems with IC9100 was to use an external USB hub with an external power supply. Now everything is working as before with the same configuration on all programs. I never had problems with W10 or any other programs.

How you connect FT817 to PC ?

I think you need CT-62 or equivalent interface....
