To All Hams.

The Broward Emergency Management Division is monitoring an area of disturbed
weather associated with a trough of low pressure located over the Caribbean
Sea. This system is forecast to move slowly north-northwestward across Cuba
and the Straits of Florida during the next day or so. Some development of
this system is possible when it moves near the Florida peninsula or the
northwestern Bahamas on Friday or Saturday before upper-level winds become
less favorable early next week. Regardless of development, this system is
likely to produce locally heavy rainfall over portions of Cuba, southern
Florida, the Florida Keys, and the Bahamas during the next several days.

Maximum Sustained Wind Speed: Possible windy conditions with 30-40 MPH wind
gusts

Forward Direction: north-northwestward

Potential for further development or weakening: there is a 20% (low) chance
of formation through the next 5 days

Potential Impact for Broward County: Possible rainfall 2-3 inches

Current Broward County Actions: Level 4 (Monitoring)

Current related watches and warnings for Broward County: None

The Broward Emergency Management Division will continue to provide updates
on this weather system as it evolves. Detailed information on this system
