For sale is my brand-new MFJ-5008 Ultrasonic Receiver.  It is designed to receive in the ultrasonic rage around 40 KHz.  The primary purpose of this device is to pinpoint noise generated by faulty power line components , but it is also useful for detecting electrical noise around the house from noisy LEDs, appliance, etc.  It uses a hand-held 19” parabolic reflector.  Comes with ear buds and manual.  $50 – pick up in Tamarac or Stuart.
