Friday night I thought I had some problems with timing between my rig and the ACOM 2000 amp. Saturday, I discovered that the relay that I had installed at the antenna, which would detune the antenna during receive was too slow, and the ACOM’s protection circuits would trip out the amp some of the time. SO, Saturday night I had to switch the tune/de-tune relay manually. That worked, and I put more Qs in the log. (The de-tuning of the TX antenna actually gives me 7-8 dB lower noise floor due to less on Freq. re-radiation of noise present on the TX antenna- not so important for US stations, but needed for working the weak ones. If you want to see these effects, I have a You Tube video demonstrating this at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38G-awzhQH0&t=6s

Unfortunately I missed NE, SD and OR and AK states and a few VE Provinces that might not have been on the air... Conditions into EU on Saturday were not as good as Friday, but with my amp problem, I did not stay up Friday night.
