I left Cape Town on the 11th of January so today I'm celebrating 5 months on the road in Africa :-) Feels pretty good to have made it all the way to Ethiopia - a country with a lot of things to offer, and a lot of challenges as well - mostly in terms of a number of kids whose sole purpose seems to be making life on the road as miserable as possible for a cyclist. I will get back to that later, but for now just say that progress is once again good. I should be in Addis Ababa early next week where I hope to obtain a visa for Sudan! The sub-Saharan part of the ride is thereby slowly coming to an end... Have a great weekend out there!
