Keith,

Vant was saying that the Intentional QRMers want to upset the operators.
that is their aim. It has nothing to do with the type of operator on the
air trying to work the DXpedition.

BTW, I was not "beating up" on 11 meter operators in my comments on the
DCARC net. I was showing that there is a difference, and that the 11 meter
lingo is usually not accepted or appreciated on the ham bands. Hams have a
tradition, which does not include some of the "11-meterisms" that I quoted.
Those ops are entitled to say whatever they want, in any way they want.

That is why we have the net, to train and educate the licensed operators in
the proper way to operate and proper procedures. We NEVER had ANY license
questions on procedure or operation back 50 years ago. We taught each other
!

Don't understand that response. I wasn't referring to the DX operators. Of
course it is bad operation if one station is interfering with another,
whether it is not listening, tuning on frequency, or just covering up the
calling station by playing music or making derogatory comments constantly.

They didn't make me mad, I went elsewhere, and never gave them any
recognition.

It is not operation, it is mentality. They get a kick out of making you
made. That is why it does not pay to give them any recognition.
