Hi moonbouncers,

Friday May 15th, Atleticoteam 7Q7EME did EME on 432 MHz. We were ready
earlier than we expected so it was a surprise that many already were
waiting for us.
Dinner last night was fantastic: Beef Wellington and custard slice. It
was perfect, the cook knows the finishing touch. We enjoy the good
things of life to full extend.
It is nice to sit on the beach every day. Sure we will do some other
things next week when we have bad moon. We will hire a car and drive
around a bit; however most Africans here drive on the wrong side of
the road (left), we will show them the right way.

The results for day seven:
432 MHz: We worked 19 inits. Highlight was a CW QSO with DL9KR, the
first ever QSO on 432 MHz from Malawi. Really great this was in CW!
2300 MHz: Hermann managed to work 13 stations.
So now we have activated them all: 2m, 70cm, 23cm, 13cm and 9 cm. And
it works all well.

Next operation will be Saturday May 16th at 04:30 UTC on 432 MHz.
Hermann will be QRV on 13cm Saturday May 16th too from 0930 UTC.
7Q7EME: 432.100 MHz, always first.
QSL via PA3CEE

Next activity at 144 MHz is at Sunday May 17th from 0520, we start
with window to VK ZL JA till moonset.

The log has been updated and some photo's were added: see our website

Being in Africa is not easy. Please take in consideration that power
failures, instable power, poor internet, extreme weather conditions
etc. do have a negative impact on the performance. And being in
southeast Africa means a shorter window with the USA.
