Subject: Update from Malawil
Hi moonbouncers,
Thursday May 14th, Atleticoteam 7Q7EME did EME again on 144 MHz.
The results for day five:
144 MHz: We added some new ones. It resulted 34 new inits, so now
total 322 inits. Our goal was 300+ so we are very satisfied and it
ain't done yet! We knew we can not not beat our last year worldrecord
(455 inits from Senegal), but 300+ QSO's with two yagi's in 5 days
time is what we are used to do in Africa. Also nice to make another CW
QSO.
3400 MHz: Hermann managed to work 9 stations easily. A new continental
record.
Next operation will be Friday May 15th at 08:00 UTC on 432 MHz.
Saturday we will operate 432 MHz as well, time will follow.
Sunday we will do 144 MHz again, we will see for how long because
sunnoise probably will spoil the pleasure.
Hermann told us he will be QRV on 13cm Friday May 15th from 0900 UTC,
plan is that he will do 13cm Saturday May 16thtoo.
7Q7EME: 144.134 MHz, always first.

Being in Africa is not easy. Please take in consideration that power
failures, instable power, poor internet, extreme weather conditions
etc. do have a negative impact on the performance. And being in
southeast Africa means a shorter window with the USA.
