Subject: [SFDXA] TOWER PARTY  April 18th 
 
For all of you who have said you will help replace the tower at Florida Medical Center for the South Florida DX Association

Please set aside Saturday, April 18th -  9 AM for the Tower Party.  We will need many hands to make light work of the project.

We will be:

Raising 3 sections of Rohn 25 to the roof
raising the gin pole and mast to the roof,

Removing the TH-11 antenna, 
Taking down 4 sections of Rohn 25, 

Putting up 3 sections of Rohn 25
Replacing the Ham 4 Rotor with a Tailtwister,
Adding a longer mast.
Soldering the rotor cable to a new, round connector to plug into the T2X

All guy cables ( phillystran) are in good condition and can be used as they are... just uncouple the tower ends and later replace.  We will have to adjust the turnbuckle ends as needed.
