The Last IC-7800 Ever Made

This 7800 is from the last ever final production run from last year.  It is also called the IC-7800 Upgrade Model.  Brochure available at http://www.icom.co.jp/world/support/download/brochure/pdf/ic-7800UPG_EUR.pdf.   It is still under warranty, serial number 0201978.  This 7800 has all the latest improvements that ICOM has made to this rig since the inception, including the latest firmware.  It now includes spectrum waterfall display function, mouse operation for display scope, audio scope function, simplified remote control for RS-BA1, and enhanced digital voice recorder.  It is in mint condition and comes complete with all supplied accessories, original manual in special 4-ring binder, original warranty card, and ICOM shipping boxes.   \

This IC-7800 was purchased by me from HRO last fall.  It is available for pick up in Tamarac or Stuart.  Offered first to FCG, SFDXA, and MFDXA club members for $7,750.  Personal check is fine.  No trades, please.  Reason for selling is that my IC-7850 is now fully operational and has replaced the 7800.  

Yes, you could wait for the IC-7851 to be released, which has improved phase noise, as well as a new local oscillator design, but you will probably pay nearly twice as much as my 7800, and you won’t be getting twice the rig.  You could also find an older, less expensive 7800 for about $6,000-7,000, but it will not have all the latest improvement as this IC-7800 Upgrade Model which is only six months old.
