27/02/2015: The C6ANA team will once again be back on the air from Grand
Bahama Island (NA-080, WLOTA 0527) during the upcoming contests. While
Peter, W1NA, participates in the CQWW 160m SSB Contest (27th February-1st
March), the whole team (Pasquale I8QLS, Gino I8ULL, Max N5NHJ and Peter
W1NA) will operate the ARRL International DX SSB Contest (7-8 March) as a
Multi-Single entry. Some activities will take place outside of the contests

27/02/2015: NAQCC Florida Chapter Event 27th February 2015 - "This month's
not so secret location is again Lake Ashby Park, 4150 Boy Scout Camp Road,
off State Road 415, Southwest of New Smyrna Beach, Florida. We should be up
and running by 9:00 EST, and will be operating until around 12:00 pm local
time. At this time we know of at least two stations that will be on the
air - those two "usual suspects" Art WB4MNK NAQCC #5274 and Steve WB4OMM
NAQCC #5913 at the least hoping for others too! Operating frequencies will
be posted on QRP Spots and NAQCC Spotter when we commence...20M, 30M, and
40M at least. Look in the usual watering holes (.040, .050, .060) depending
on band conditions and use. Steve will be bringing his 4SQRP Cyclone 40

28/02/2015: The Uruguay DX Group (Gus CX2AM, Mario CX4CR, Rainer CX8FB and
Bert CX3AN) will be active holiday style as PJ7C from the island of Dutch

01/03/2015: Olivier, ON4EI, will once again be active from Ireland (EU-115,

03/03/2015: The party of Leena OH2BE and Martti OH2BH will continue their
study tour to Grand Cayman Island (NA-016, WLOTA 1042), Cayman Islands,
where Martti will air ZF2BH in the ARRL DX SSB Contest (7-8 March) along
with Joe, ZF2AH (W6VNR). The duo is grateful for the assistance of John

three stations using yagi beams and amps on 160-6 metres depending on

19/03/2015: Bob, N7XR will be active again from Diego Garcia Island
(AF-006), Chagos Archipelago from 19-27th March 2015 as VQ9XR. Bob says -
"I'll be operating on 80-10m with power. I will also be operating on 60m 
CW,
the British Republic is modifying the license to allow operation. 160m
possible, no promises. 6m is out, no antenna. Operating on SSB, CW, and
RTTY. No internet access is available in the area I operate from. I check
emails once in the evening IF I can gain access. Most of the time it's

20/03/2015: Look for Kazu, M0CFW to be active once again from the old
German signal station, St. Brelade, isle of Jersey (EU-013, WLOTA 0818, WW

Contest (21-22 March) as a Single-Op entry using the callsign MJ5Z. QRV as

04/05/2015: Mike, WA0SPG will activate Garden Key (USi FL-013S) Dry
Tortugas (IOTA NA-079, WWFF KFF-0023) on 4th to 6th of May. He will be
operating HF (SSB/CW) using a KX3 and a FT-817. Antennas will be a 
Buddipole
vertical dipole near saltwater, Alpha vertical and Loop antenna. Mike will
also be doing satellite work with 2 FT-817s for SO-50 and FO-29 (SSB/CW)
with both arrow and elk antennas. All power will be by Goal Zero batteries

09/05/2015: Arturo, KG4DRP/p plans to activate Garden Key (USi FL-013S) Dry
Tortugas (IOTA NA-079, WWFF KFF-0023) on 9th and 10th of May. Activity will

09/05/2015: Jim, W8ERI (ex-E51AAA, 3D2ZF) will again be active from Grand
Cayman Island (NA-016, WLOTA 1042) as ZF2ZL between 9-15th May, 2015.

05/06/2015: Nobby, G0VJG plans activity as 8Q7CQ from the island of
Meedhupparu (WW Loc. MJ65LK), a coral island on the east of the Northern
Maalhosmadulu Atoll, Republic of Maldives (AS-013) from 5-18th June 2015.
There will be a big effort on 6 metre SSB, with beacon running. Also SSB on
the HF bands and some Digital modes. Nobby will be using FT897 500watts,

05/07/2015: Emil, DL8JJ plans to activate Ile du Large (DIFM MA-001, WW
Loc. IN99KL), Iles Saint Marcouf (EU-081, WLOTA 0060), Basse Normandie,
France, between 5-11th July, 2015. QRV as F/DL8JJ/p on 160-10 metre CW and
SSB. This activation is also good for the Ile du Large lighthouse (DPLF
PB-052, ARLHS FRA-055, WLOTA 0060) and the Fort de l'Ile du Large (DFCF

01/03/2015: Look for special event station 8J1H to be active on all bands
and modes from 1st March until 31st May 2015 to celebrate Hachioji-city's
Upgrade to a "Core City" (Defined by the Local Autonomy Act). Hachioji City
will change toward the first core city in Tokyo! Hachioji-city is 
located in
Tokyo Metropolis prefecture, Kanto region, island of Honshu (AS-007, WLOTA

Sogo Koen Park. Koga-city is located in Ibaraki prefecture, Kanto region,

01/03/2015: Look for 8N3HC to be active on all bands and modes between 1st
March and 31st May 2015 to celebrate the Grand Opening of a World Heritage
Site Himeji-jo Castle (WCA reference JA-00035). Himeji-jo Castle is a
hilltop Japanese castle complex located in Himeji, in Hyogo prefecture,
Kansai region on Honshu island (AS-007, WLOTA 2376), Japan. The castle is
regarded as the finest surviving example of prototypical Japanese castle
architecture, comprising a network of 83 buildings with advanced defensive
systems from the feudal period. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. QSL via

01/03/2015: Between 1st and 31st of March 2015 Bulgarian Radio Club

2015 to 29th February 2016 to celebrate a double golden jubilee, i.e. the
50th anniversary of the Amateur Radio Group of the German Armed Forces in

Dan, HR2DMR informs DX-World that he has plans to be active from the rare
IOTA of Farallones de Cosiguina NA-212 during mid to late July covering the
IOTA contest....
"Hoping to use a special H7 prefix or YN9W, activity could start from July
23 to 28, depending on Honduran and Nicaraguan navy officers. More details
and full plans announced at later date."
