Ladies and Gents:

Writing your Congressman DOES make a difference.  I don’t know how many of you have proactively got involved in writing your US Congressman but I did—although I am not in Tom Rooney’s district my wife through her local political activities knows Tom.  I wrote him a letter with documentation as provided by the ARRL and voila! He is not a co-sponsor with 92 other of his colleagues in the US House of Representative.
Please if you have not write your Congressman and ask them to get involved in co-sponsoring the bill.

PS It is a shame that the state of Florida although I don’t have the metrics probably has one of the highest percentages of restricted communities and large number of amateur radio operators, we only have 4 co-sposors (out of a total of 27 members in the US House of Representative).  If your Congressman is not on-board, please write them.
