My WAN award certificate was hand-delivered by a Military Policeman in government quarters in the 1980’s. I was running a KW from a Drake T4X-B, Henry 3K-A into a Fritzel FB-33 on the roof of a 4-story apartment building in downtown Heidelberg. I have the seismic endorsement for RTTY using an old Lorenz LO-15 teletype, and the Foreign Official endorsement from the Deutsche Bundespost for operating on MARS frequencies. My callsign was DA1TN.

I missed the Gold Toaster award by just a few watts .... Too bad. 73,

Hank

While this was more Popular in the 50's and 60's it may still be
something to put on your wall.
