[SFDXA] SFDXA Meeting

29 Members and Guests were in attendance at the SFDXA meeting this past 
Wednesday.

Two were voted in to became Full Members, Dan WQ3G and Larry AA1EE. Ron 
KM4AIM joined as an Associate Member.

We were treated to a very interesting presentation by Carlos N4IS, on 
Receive Antennas and why they work. All the technical information came 
together at the end, and it fully explained why the Waller Flag Antenna 
statistics were so amazing. How a small Triband size antenna can be so 
spectacular is partly because of wizardly designs from over a Century 
ago. What was especially interesting to me was the 40 meter vertical 
transmit antenna sitting inside the Waller Flag receive antenna. Very 
compact. Carlos is in the process of developing a commercially available 
version for retail sale.
