While it is interesting, I see it favors their glass mount antenna at 
the top of the rear window. But it is food for thought.

It's well known that you'll get the best performance from your mobile 
antenna if you put in the center of the roof of your vehicle using a 
permanent mount (e.g. drill a hole in the sheet metal).
But how much does the performance of your antenna suffer if you use a 
mag mount on the roof.
Or mount it towards the rear of the roof?
Or on the rear deck?
Or on a trunk-lip mount?
