[SFDXA] SFDXA Meeting Wednesday - Kai KE4PT SFDXA DX Hog of the Year...!

The SFDXA Meeting last night was attended by 37 Members, New Members, 
Future Members and Guests. Two YL Members were present last night with 
294 and 234 countries. It was a fun night

We had a DX Country Countdown with Norm W4QN and Don W3AZD last men 
standing. Don is top in the club with 378.

The South Florida DX Association DX Hog of the year is Kai KE4PT! 
Congratulations Kai.

We showed pictures of this years Miami Hamboree, the DX Forum and Dinner.

Pete N8PR gave us an update  of the W1AW/4 operation. He sent the totals 
out. Of interest there were over 50 operators participating and at last 
nights meeting by hand count 17 operators were at the meeting. Totals 
are over 50,000 contacts. What a great turnout for the ARRL 100th 
Anniversary event and we are proud of the SFDXA involvement. Lets do it 
again in November when we get another turn in the barrel.

The ARRL Video of 100 Years of Amateur Radio was shown.

Thanks to Don NB4TZH and Kai KE4PT for handling the AV responsibilities 
and Mark K2AU who was busy last night with all the new Members and Dave 
W4DN for doing the Photography responsibilities.

Dave is giving his collection of older SFDXA pictures of Hamboree's, 
Forums and other pictures to the club for posting on the website. We 
look forward to seeing them.
