[SFDXA] SFDXA March Meeting This Wednesday...

The March Meeting of the SFDXA is March 5th this Wednesday and it will be fun and interesting.

We will have the Annual Presentation of the 2013 SFDXA DX HOG of the year award. This is the 24th Presentation. Who will it be?

Next will be a brief slide show of the the Miami Hamboree, with pictures of the booth, the DX Forum and the DX Dinner.

The SFDXA also participated in the ARRL Centennial W1AW/4 and Pete N8PR who coordinated the very successful week long event will update us on the total contacts and all the participants. Some 50 operators from the SFDXA, FCG and others provided thousands of contacts for those chasing the various awards for the 100th Anniversary.

Also we will show the ARRL 100th Anniversary video that was shown at the SFDXA DX Forum which proved to be quite informative. Don't miss it.

  Many new Members and potential member will be there, we will have a vote on some Plus other surprises

As always it is held at the Hospital on Oakland Park Blvd and the Fl Turnpike. There is no exit there though. So come east from Sunrise past 441 to the Hospital.

Join us at 6 to 6:45 and have dinner from the cafeteria for a $7.00 Donation to the Club. Walk across the hall with your tray to meet friends and discuss and brag about your activities and new contacts.

Meeting begins at 7:33. Come and being a friend. Everyone is welcome.
