>From media:
The earthquake occurred at 3:57 p.m. about 110 miles southeast of Key West.
National Weather Service alerts said that there was no tsunami warning being issued for Key West.
According to Earthquake-Report.com, the tremor was felt by someone in Marathon who said they felt a "very light rumbling for approx. 10-15 seconds." Others reported mile swaying of buildings with one Key West resident adding, "I was sitting at my desk at work on the second floor and the building did a slight wave movement to the right. It was kind of freaky."

The Boca Raton Police Department even sent out a tweet about the earthquake saying it may have been felt it in its area.
A 5.0 earthquake is considered moderated and can cause damage of varying severity to poorly constructed buildings.
