Subject: Antenna Tower, Free!

Trooper,
Per our conversation, here is the tower I am looking give away.  It’s in good condition and fully functioning however the base could stand a coat of paint.  The only reason I am looking to remove it as it is a very heavy tower and base and am looking to put up something a lot lighter and easier for this old man to manage.  To that end, I have a small aluminum tower that I will replace it with.

Basically the tower is a “modified" Wilson TT-35A Tubular tower about 35 ft high.  It is a self supporting, fold over of now one piece construction.  The rotor and beam shown in the pictures ARE NOT included however might be available if someone really wants them for $.

In terms of modifications, the tower has been welded together at the section so you will need a boat trailer or similar to move it.  Both the antenna and base weigh a couple hundred pounds so will probably need two strong guys (and myself) to take it down.  It folds down using the base as a pivot so you can get the antenna and such off very easily.  It has also been modified to use a base mounted rotator but this could be easily changed if top mount is a preference.

Randy
