[SFDXA] South Florida Ham Question

Broward County is a big place with many different cities and neighborhoods.
Most towns will permit and antenna/tower, no problem, as long as you can
meet structural and setback rules. The problem is that home owners
associations generally prohibit antennas.
If you want a nice new development with a gate and security guard, you're
likely to have a problem with CCR's that will prohibit a nice tower and
beam.
BUT... almost all towns (but not all) have older neighborhoods or stand
alone properties where you can get a tower up.
You should drive around and find what you like in your price range, lot
size where you could put up antennas, and the absence of an HOA. Get
educated with realtor.com and Zillow. Then find a realtor that knows the
neighborhood and find you the right home at the right price. 80% of sales
in Broward go through realtors.
There are a number of ham/realtors around. Let me know if you're interested
in meeting one.
